At the Sept. 26 New Kingstown Vision meeting, Jim Hall delivered the New Kingstown Fire Company’s update.
Hall reported the company "has responded to over 700 calls so far this year, with 90 calls last month." He said there were 16 people in training over the past weekend and that the station remained staffed during the training. Hall also said there will be a community yard sale at the fire company on Saturday, Sept. 14, with food available; 10,000 Super Raffle tickets will be available Oct. 1 for next year’s event; and a new utility apparatus is expected to arrive in January.
No operational changes or budget votes for the fire company were recorded at the meeting; the report was informational.
