The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors approved a slate of routine actions at its Nov. 18, 2025 meeting, including payment authorizations, traffic signage and a seasonal liquor license.
Vice Chair Brandon Geyen called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.; the pledge of allegiance was recited and the meeting paused to allow a Planning & Zoning item and a public hearing. The regular meeting reopened at 7:29 p.m.
Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve the meeting agenda; Supervisor Andy Christensen seconded the motion and it carried 3‑0. Christensen then moved to approve the Nov. 6 meeting minutes; Nelson seconded and the motion carried 3‑0.
The board approved a list of disbursements totaling $81,357.27 after a motion by Supervisor Andy Christensen, seconded by Supervisor Ryan Nelson; the motion carried 3‑0.
Under maintenance updates the minutes state that "Pic Rec completed for 2025" and that more gravel can be mined from one wall (the minutes do not further define "Pic Rec"). Supervisor Ryan Nelson moved to approve installation of stop signs at the truckstop "at cost," with township maintenance assigned to install the signs; Supervisor Andy Christensen seconded and the motion carried 3‑0.
In new business, Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to approve a seasonal liquor license for Olson Campground. The motion was seconded by Supervisor Ryan Nelson and carried 3‑0.
The board adjourned at 7:51 p.m. after a motion by Christensen, seconded by Nelson, which carried 3‑0.
