The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors approved a developer agreement for the Lake Ida development during its Oct. 7 meeting. Vice Chair Brandon Geyen moved to approve the agreement; Supervisor Andy Christensen seconded, and the motion carried 4-0.
Chairman Mike Helman said the developer may begin work only after the township receives escrow funds, a signed agreement and the required bond. Helman added that the developer must submit a final plat by the end of November; the board recorded that requirement as a condition for moving forward.
The action does not record further conditions or a detailed construction schedule in the public minutes. The board did not record any dissenting votes. Next procedural steps are the township’s review of escrow/bond documentation and receipt of the final plat before any on-site work may commence.
