Building & Grounds committee hears progress report on roof and solar project and approves Nov. 20 minutes

The W. L. Gilbert School Corporation Building & Grounds Committee met on Dec. 18 in the school library. Chair Scott Beecher called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m., and attendees listed were Scott Beecher (Chair), Holly Cassaday (committee member), Jonathan Morhardt (committee member) and Head of Building and Grounds Mike Pellittier.
Holly Cassaday, a committee member, moved to approve the minutes of the Nov. 20 meeting; Jonathan Morhardt, a committee member, seconded the motion and the committee approved it unanimously.
Head of Building and Grounds Mike Pellittier reported on ongoing work and the roof/solar project, saying, "Things are moving smoothly under new leadership; work is getting done and relationships are building and strengthening." The meeting agenda lists "Updates on Roof/Solar Project," but the minutes record no formal motion, timetable, budget figures or next steps for that project.
There was no additional substantive business recorded. Chair Scott Beecher moved to adjourn at 6:22 p.m.; Jonathan Morhardt seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes were submitted by Lauren Jones Dombrowski.
