Sigourney council updates Deputy City Clerk job description and approves $0.50 hourly raise

On a motion by Council member Iosbaker, seconded by Council member McLaughlin, the council approved Resolution No. 2025-12-37 updating the Deputy City Clerk job description.
Separately, Fry requested and the council approved a $0.50 hourly raise for the Deputy City Clerk to account for the added responsibilities; the raise was approved to take effect on Dec. 8, 2025. Council members voted unanimously on both items.
