Mayor Darren E. Bryant reported in the Village of Robbins’ Oct. 12 meeting that Jasmine Washington is the new village administrator and David Sheppard is the new police chief. The mayor’s written report also announced new standing committees and said Mr. Todd Stroger will travel to Springfield for the upcoming veto session.
The administration plans to kick off comprehensive planning with the Robbins United Breakfast scheduled for Oct. 23, a procedural step the mayor identified as the start of community planning work. Trustee Tiffany S. Robinson raised a procedural finance request during the meeting, asking staff to provide documentation of the amount paid for transfer stamps.
The board approved minutes from prior meetings and concluded business with an adjournment at 7:52 p.m. No formal votes or ordinances pertaining to the appointments were recorded in the meeting minutes; the mayor’s report presented the staffing changes as informational updates to the board.
