Jerrod Bridgewater addressed the Toledo City Council on Sept. 8 about a $200 nuisance mowing fee assessed to his property at 403 E Carleton. Mayor Sokol opened the floor to Bridgewater, and after brief consideration Councilmember Pansegrau moved to waive $100 of the fee. Councilmember Vesely seconded the motion and all present voted in favor.
The motion reduced Bridgewater’s outstanding nuisance mowing charge from $200 to $100; the transcript records no additional conditions or repayment schedule. The consent agenda also included requests to certify liens on two other properties (300 S. East for $250.00 and 503 E. Ross for $649.50), but those were separate items processed as part of the consent agenda.
No further public comment or appeal was recorded. The council adjourned at 6:04 p.m.
