Planning commission sets April 1 deadline for Master Plan survey; 187 responses to date

Commissioners on March 24 asked for public comments on the Master Plan update and set the Master Plan survey to close on April 1, 2026. Planner Karen LaVere reported that 187 respondents had completed the survey to date; a motion by Commissioner Jack Dailey to close the survey on April 1 carried.
Chairman Michael Wojciechowski read the Planning Commission annual report into the record and the commission voted to approve the report. Commissioners also received updates: Commissioner Meyer on the capital improvements program (CIP); Commissioner Huff on the downtown development authority (DDA); and Commissioner Haydamack said City Council approved applying for grants for pickleball courts at Festival Park. The meeting adjourned at 9:09 p.m.
