Director of Public Safety Chris Pavini told the committee in its Aug. 12 meeting that staff member Yazmin Sandoval had left the department and would not be replaced. Pavini said the Records Department’s new hours (effective July 14) are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to midnight.
Pavini also reviewed the attached six‑month Police Activity Report and told trustees he will be evaluating other dispatch vendors because NORCOM was no longer cost‑effective for Stone Park. The minutes do not record specific alternatives or a timeline for the dispatch review.
Next steps: the Director will continue the dispatch review and implement the changed Records Department hours; any staffing changes or contract decisions will be brought to the Board as required.
