Aging and Disability Commission approves Oct. minutes and 2026 meeting schedule

The Simsbury Aging and Disability Commission met on Jan. 20, 2026, in the Youth Room at Eno Memorial Hall and approved routine administrative items.
The commission accepted the minutes of the Oct. 21, 2025 meeting after a motion from Jan Beatty and a second from Anne Erickson. The commission then approved its 2026 meeting dates on a motion from Libby Easton‑May, seconded by Jan Beatty.
Chairman Ed LaMontagne opened the meeting at 6:02 P.M. and reminded commissioners of outreach events and routine business scheduled for the coming months. Commissioners were reminded to complete the required online sexual‑harassment training and to forward certificates of completion to Franklyn in the Town Manager’s Office.
Diana Yeisley moved and Terry Henault seconded the motion to adjourn; the meeting closed at 7:22 P.M. The commission’s next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 17, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. in the Youth Room at Eno Memorial Hall.
