Recycling, conservation and nature programs highlighted at Bolton library; Teen Advisory Board to continue

At the Bentley Memorial Library’s May 14 meeting, Brian Popovich of All American Waste and Rod Parlee of the Conservation Commission provided recycling updates for library patrons, the board heard. Additional programming noted included Behind the Scenes at Bushnell Memorial and a presentation titled The Beaver delivered with Ray Hardy and Ginny Apple from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).
Board members voted unanimously to continue the Teen Advisory Board program; the Teen Advisory Board meeting was rescheduled for June. No mover or seconder is recorded in the minutes for that vote; the minutes state the board members unanimously approved continuing the program.
