The board approved the renewals by voice vote.
A presenter who has been coordinating with NDOT recommended the board approve a first‑phase design and bid agreement so the city can prepare bid documents and be ready when federal or state funding is confirmed; the presenter said the firm would produce the application and plans for $43,000.
