Underwood council approves multiple fund transfers to debt service, closes and combines bank accounts

The Underwood City Council on Nov. 12 approved a series of financial housekeeping measures: a package of resolutions authorizing transfers from Roads, Fire, Sewer and Other Public Safety funds to debt service (Resolutions 25-11-03 through 25-11-10), approved Resolution 25-11-12 to close and combine bank accounts, and set a public hearing for Budget Amendment #1 FY2026 on Dec. 9 by adopting Resolution 25-11-13.
Council reported these votes as roll-call approvals with unanimous support where recorded. The minutes also show no action taken on the Urban Renewal Report (Resolution 25-11-02) and no action on Resolution 25-11-11 (Annual Finance Report FYE 30JUN2025).
The council additionally approved TIF payments to Shiloh Properties and Link Snacks and later approved TIF indebtedness for Link Snacks and Fieldcrest Subdivisions for FY2027. These TIF approvals were recorded as motions carried 5-0.
