The Underwood City Council unanimously approved a strategic, comprehensive and infrastructure plan on Nov. 12, adopting Resolution 25-11-01 to guide the city's capital and planning priorities.
Councilmember Josh Madsen moved to approve the resolution and Kelle Erwin seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote of Tiarks, Madsen, Bose, Erwin and Pingel voting yes.
City officials described the action as adoption of the guiding plan for infrastructure and city priorities; the minutes record the vote and do not attach substantive amendments to the plan at the meeting. The resolution was presented as a final adoption rather than a referral or first reading.
The plan adoption follows background work by staff and consultants (not detailed in the minutes). The council simultaneously disposed of several housekeeping items and financial resolutions during the meeting.
The council set no additional conditions in the minutes; next steps recorded were routine implementation tasks and inclusion of the plan in city records. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
The resolution vote and the roll-call yes votes are recorded in the council minutes.
