The Brentwood Select Board approved payroll and vendor warrants and signed a routine auditors' questionnaire during its meeting Tuesday evening.
The treasurer reported the general fund balance at $2,508,886.03, accounts payable of $139,490.14, payroll of $42,391.14 and current FICA taxes of $9,872.88, leaving an ending cash balance of $2,317,131.87. Invested funds totaled $1,500,000, giving a combined cash balance of $3,817,131.87, the treasurer said.
Board members read a long list of invoices and checks, noting larger items including Bell & Flynn for $99,965.94, Whitney Consulting Group for $7,200, and WM Corporate Services for $6,967.80. The board voted by voice to sign and approve the payroll registries and the warrants.
The board also voted to sign the auditors' questionnaire for Wlazik and Sanderson, the town's accounting firm. A motion to sign the questionnaire was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The board briefly approved both public and non-public minutes from prior meetings, with members who were not present on specific dates registering abstentions where appropriate. There were no new funding authorizations or budget transfers discussed at the meeting.
The board adjourned the public session to enter non-public session on hiring under RSA 91‑A:3 II(a).
