At its May 12, 2026 meeting in Bolton, the Bentley Memorial Library Board approved the minutes of the Jan. 13, 2026 regular meeting and unanimously accepted revisions and updates to the Library Policy and Procedures.
The motion to approve the Jan. 13 minutes was made by Claire Fazzina and seconded by Dot Neil; the motion passed unanimously. Later, Rebecca Holliman moved to accept revisions and updates to the Library Policy and Procedures; Camden Soucy seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board also reviewed March and April statistical reports that had been distributed in advance.
During the budget review, Library Director Liz Thornton reported there were about six weeks left in the fiscal year with money encumbered and that the budget was on track. No formal budget amendment or appropriation was proposed at the meeting.
The board adjourned at 4:41 p.m.; a motion to adjourn was made by Claire Fazzina, seconded by Loni Hryn, and passed unanimously. The board announced its next regular meeting for July 14, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
