Timens said the funds will allow the district to "celebrate the fantastic things that our kids and our staff are doing each and every day."
The superintendent recommended acceptance; the board called the question and the motion carried.
Next steps: administration will work with building leaders to allocate funds and report back on the incentive structures used at each school.
