At the May 11 meeting the Lamoni Community School District board approved two student-program actions: adoption of the 2021–22 District Career Academic Plan and expansion of the LEEP Preschool to provide services for three-year-old children beginning in the 2022–2023 school year.
Both motions were moved by Vice-President Michele Dickey-Kotz and seconded by Director Kris Stevenson and carried unanimously. The preschool expansion will add three-year-old programming to the existing LEEP Preschool beginning August 2022.
Angie Radloff and Amy Sellars reviewed revisions to the course curriculum guide and the elementary, middle- and high-school student handbooks; the board deferred final approval of those materials to the June meeting.
