The Town of Tisbury Community Preservation Act Committee voted on May 27, 2026 to pursue a joint meeting with the Finance Committee to discuss the CPA surcharge and related revenue issues.
Administrator Heidi Dietterich was asked to prepare talking points for the CPC and to extend an invitation to the Finance Committee for an in-person meeting to be held at the Tisbury Senior Center at 5:00 p.m. on a date to be determined. Dietterich also was asked to consult Stuart Saginor, director of the State Community Preservation Coalition, to gather background information for the discussion.
The request followed a Finance Committee inquiry about the CPA surcharge. Committee members did not set a final date at the May 27 meeting; Dietterich will coordinate scheduling and provide members with the proposed agenda and materials prior to the joint session.
No formal votes on the CPA surcharge or changes to the surcharge amount were made at the May 27 CPC meeting; the session's action was to organize further discussion with Finance Committee members.
