Lamont City Council approves consent agenda, liquor license and 2026 employee health insurance

The Lamont City Council on Nov. 12 approved its consent agenda and several administrative items, recorded city financials and took three formal votes on licenses and employee benefits.
A motion by Council member Adams, seconded by Lamphier, approved the consent agenda covering the November agenda, October minutes, bills and financial reports. The minutes list vendor payments and payroll items that produced total expenditures of $28,714.88 and October receipts of $87,040.99.
Council member Paul Lincoln moved, and Slack seconded, approval of a Class C beer (carryout) permit, a Class B native wine permit and a Class E liquor license with Sunday sales for McDermott Oil doing business as Quick & Handi III. The motion carried with all ayes.
Council member Devlin moved, and Paul Lincoln seconded, approval of employee health insurance coverage for 2026; council recorded the action as Resolution 25-21 and the motion passed unanimously.
The council then moved to adjourn; the meeting ended at 8:07 p.m. No other formal actions were recorded.
