Board approves routine appointments and an audit engagement in work-session votes
Summary
During the June 22 work session the Select Board approved appointments to the library board and deputy town clerk position, updated an authorized-user list for NH Municipal Services, and authorized engagement of Plodzik & Sanderson for a tax-collector recommittal audit; motions were seconded and passed by voice vote.
Near the end of the June 22 work session the Nottingham Select Board recorded multiple administrative motions and voice votes.
A motion to appoint Christine De Brio as a library trustee, to fill the vacancy left by Jen Phillips with a term through March 2027, was made, seconded and carried on a voice vote. The board also moved to appoint Alyssa Rowe as deputy town clerk per the town clerk’s recommendation and approved an updated authorized-user list for New Hampshire Municipal Services that defines which town officials may access member legal and financial resources.
The board also approved signing an engagement letter with Plodzik & Sanderson to complete a tax-collector recommittal audit on July 2; members noted Tracy Black’s planned retirement effective that date and that Alyssa Rowe will assume tax-collector duties as needed until an official appointment is finalized. Each motion was seconded and the record shows an affirmative voice vote.
No roll-call vote tallies with member names were recorded in the public workshop minutes; all final personnel or audit actions will appear in the official minutes and personnel records.
