Shorewood Park Commission approves agenda and minutes, schedules joint meeting and volunteer events

Council Liaison Gorham provided a brief City Council update. Parks and Recreation Manager Czech reminded commissioners of a joint meeting with the City Council on April 28, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., and announced a volunteer tree planting at Freeman Park on May 3, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Commissioner Sylvester noted a Spring Clean-Up on May 17, 2025; staff said commissioners could volunteer but there was no formal commission role for that event.
Commissioner Wenner moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 p.m.; Commissioner Garske seconded and the motion carried 4-0.
