At the June 23 meeting the Cole County Commission voted to enter a closed session under Missouri law to discuss communications between the public body and its auditor.
A motion was made to go into closed session “pursuant to section 61.021 revised statutes of Missouri” to discuss communications with the auditor under subsection 18. The motion was seconded and the clerk called roll. The roll call responses recorded in the transcript were: “Sam. Yes.” “Gary. Yes.” “Jeff. Yes.” The Commission then proceeded into closed session.
The transcript records the statutory citation and the roll-call votes but does not include the discussion that took place in closed session.
