Avery also raised related operational concerns about whether maintenance crews followed proper disinfection procedures after performing sewer repairs and urged the council to address that protocol; the council passed a separate motion to investigate cleaning and safety procedures for equipment used on raw-sewage work.
Manager Bruce and council members said they would look into the matter and requested the evidence Avery referenced. No formal disciplinary action was taken at the meeting; the council's immediate decision was to investigate the allegations and review time records and relevant footage.
