The Angeletti Group presented its plan and timeline for selecting the next head of school at a Woodstock Academy Board of Trustees retreat on Sept. 17, 2024, President Swenson said as she opened the 6:30 p.m. meeting.
Jay Angeletti, president of The Angeletti Group, described the consulting firm’s background and capabilities and "expressed confidence in his team's ability to find a candidate who will meet/exceed the Board’s expectations," according to the board minutes.
Kate Hughes, the firm’s senior vice president and chief operating officer, provided a detailed outline and timeline for the search and answered trustees’ procedural questions. David Beecher, vice president of client partnerships, summarized the listening-session results, grouping responses into four areas the board identified as priorities: School Strengths; Responsibility/Focus/Opportunities; Leadership Style/Personal Qualities; and Employment History & Qualifications.
Board members reviewed the lists compiled from the sessions and contributed additional comments during the discussion period. President Swenson thanked trustees for their participation and input.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was moved by Brent Tuttle and seconded by David Morse. The motion to adjourn at 7:37 p.m. passed unanimously. The minutes record that they are for informational purposes only and list Julie Woodland as board clerk who respectfully submitted the record.
