Justin’s written scope — read aloud to the board — outlined design, demolition, subfloor and rough plumbing to bring fixtures to a single floor level, FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) wall and ceiling coverings for easy cleaning, commercial-grade fixtures (toilet manufacturer named as Gerber; faucets specified as Grohe or equivalent), ADA compliance and an approach to change orders if unexpected conditions arise. Justin suggested installing commercial-grade dispensers and robust finishes to limit future maintenance.
The board discussed scheduling the project for late fall or early winter and handling change orders if additional plumbing pumps or waste-handling equipment are required. Members agreed commercial fixtures could reduce long-term maintenance costs.
Separately, Lori reported she is collecting price options and attachment plans for a pavilion plaque and sign. The board also noted $1,400 remains from a visitors bureau grant previously used to buy picnic tables and trash receptacles; the remaining funds could be allocated to benches or pavilion features pending a plan.
