The Moose Lake City Council approved a slate of routine agreements, licenses and contract amendments at its Jan. 14 meeting, with the motions generally passing on recorded yes votes from Councilors Lou Ohly, Doug Juntunen, Kris Heaton-Huso and Walter Lower III.
Key approvals included a March 1–April 13, 2026 lease-extension memorandum of understanding with the Moose Lake Area Hockey Association to provide additional postseason ice time intended to help finance arena compressors; a Storm Sewer Inventory & Analysis Agreement with the Carlton Soil & Water Conservation District; and a supplemental letter agreement with Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. to amend construction timeframes and address overages on the TH 73 Phase 2 Trail Project.
