Board adopts new policy package and repeals older policies in housekeeping update

Kevin Agnello moved and Sara Baker seconded the motion “To approve policies as per the agenda, policies P1312 through P6142.101 on the agenda.” The motion passed with all voting aye. The approved list included policies such as P1312 Public Concerns, P5111.1 Student Registration, P5131.63 Bullying Prevention and Intervention, and P6142.101 Wellness Policy.
Sara Baker then moved and Meghan Blanchette seconded “To approve policies for repeal as per the agenda, policies P4111 through P4118.113 on the agenda.” That motion also passed unanimously. Policies listed for repeal included recruitment and selection items, evaluation and support, and several termination and harassment policy sections.
Board members described the actions as part of a planned recataloging and administrative housekeeping to bring policy numbers and content into alignment. The votes were recorded as unanimous approvals in the minutes.
