Kent County RLF committee elects 2026 officers, approves minutes and schedule

Later, nominations for officers for 2026 were brought forward; a motion from Ryan Verwys, supported by Al Vanderberg, to elect officers passed, selecting Ryan Kilpatrick as chair and Eureka People as vice-chair.
Haley Stichman, community development coordinator, reminded the committee that it typically meets quarterly on the second Tuesday of the month and listed tentative 2026 dates. A motion from Ryan Verwys, supported by Katie DeBoer, to approve the 2026 meeting schedule passed; the minutes list the next tentative meeting dates as Sept. 9 and Dec. 8, 2026.
The minutes record that the meeting was called to order and that the committee had no public comments. The meeting was adjourned at approximately 3:00 p.m.
