Drew explained how state aid payments are metered based on the district’s ADM submissions and how year‑end reconciliations affect receivables.
The preliminary budget anticipates transportation purchases (including new buses) and recommends targeted spend‑down where appropriate in restricted funds such as food service and operating capital. The board approved the preliminary budget on a motion by Danny, seconded by Matt.
