For Arcadia specifically, he reported a total of 47,463.22 tons collected in 2025 across residential, commercial/multifamily, roll‑offs and city facility collections; roughly 60% diversion for residential collection and about 39.5 million pounds diverted citywide in 2025.
Goldman and colleague Don Taylor Stewart presented Recycling All‑Star awards to local residents and property managers for direct education, long‑standing organics programs and on‑the‑ground compliance efforts. Councilmembers thanked the presenters and residents highlighted senior and accessibility services Waste Management provides (e.g., backyard pickup program for eligible seniors or disabled residents).
Council members asked follow‑up questions and praised the company’s community engagement; staff and presenters agreed to field any additional technical questions.
