Sanitation schedule changes prompted questions from members; the commissioner explained that routing and staffing constraints prevent adding extra pickup runs on a canceled day without disrupting service. Board members also urged residents to clear snow properly from driveways and vehicle roofs to avoid hazards and to help crews maintain access.
The board recognized the operational strain from the storm and directed staff to continue coordination with villages and to report more detailed actuals for outstanding intermunicipal bills.
