Mary Beth noted a health clerk position moved from part‑time to full‑time and said the funding would come from existing grant dollars rather than new county funds.
Mary Beth also said the county’s public health infrastructure workforce grant (fiscal grant referenced) continues through November 2027. She reported metrics from a recent county health fair—315 county employees attended, 18 blood donations and 27 vendor participants—and said staffing moves are intended to improve service delivery as county population and departmental demands grow.
The court did not take additional action beyond receiving the update; Mary Beth said she would continue coordinating hiring with the sheriff’s office and budget committee where appropriate.
