The Mendota City Council recorded several routine approvals and motions at its July 8 meeting.
Council member Golias moved to approve the June 17, 2025 minutes; Council member Rasmussen seconded. The motion passed 3-0 with Council member Lee recorded as abstaining. The treasurer's report was moved for approval by Mayor Mielke, seconded by Council member Golias, and approved 4-0.
Council member Golias moved and Council member Rasmussen seconded a motion authorizing the mayor to accept a water-project construction bid up to $710,000; the motion passed 4-0. Finally, Council member Lee moved to adjourn, Council member Golias seconded, and the meeting adjourned at 7:39 p.m.
