Haddonfield commissioners approve consent agenda and separate administrative resolutions

At their Oct. 7, 2024 meeting the Haddonfield Board of Commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda and several separate resolutions covering routine municipal business.
By motion of Commissioner Troy and second of Mayor Bianco Bezich, the board approved resolutions including authorization to pay vouchers, issue checks for tax overpayments, grant total exempt veteran status and tax cancellations, a partial refund for 3rd quarter taxes, participation in a shared-services arrangement with Cherry Hill for victim’s services (Domestic Violence Response Team), and a downtown holiday parking moratorium from Nov. 29 through Dec. 31, 2024. Each consent-item vote recorded Commissioner Troy — Yes and Mayor Bianco Bezich — Yes.
Separately approved resolutions included authorization to contract with approved state contract vendors for auditorium AV equipment under N.J.S.A. 40A:11-12a; authority to advertise requests for proposals for 2025 professional services; and approval for subdivision of Block 14, Lot 2 (east side of Bancroft property). The board also authorized renewals and service agreements such as a lease renewal with Virtua Health, Inc., amendments to tree & stump removal contracts, and participation in Camden County cooperative pricing for road salt and treated products.
Officials said these votes were routine and designed to keep municipal operations, events and capital improvements moving forward during the fall and winter season.
