Neshaminy board approves consent agenda, personnel motions and multiple contracts

At its June meeting the Neshaminy Board of School Directors approved a package of routine and personnel items, and multiple business‑operations contracts and contract addenda, all by unanimous votes.
Chair moved a master motion to approve routine items including minutes, the treasurer’s report, check registers, investment items and budget transfers; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Personnel chair Ms. Hambach moved a master motion covering appointments, rehires, reclassifications, retirements, leaves and co‑curricular appointments (3.01–3.07). The board recognized retirees Joanna Bialo (33 years of service), Mary Connolly (24 years) and Judith Canstoro (29 years), and approved the personnel slate by voice vote.
Under business operations the board approved multiple items (4.01–4.19) that the presenting member listed, including an engagement agreement with Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLP, an IUP affiliation agreement, stop‑loss insurance for 2026–27, contracted services for the 2026–27 school year, a Thomas Reuters agreement, and contract addenda with STA and ESS related to transportation and ESY services. Those items were moved, seconded and approved 8–0.
Superintendent Mr. Bowman introduced several first‑year teachers and new staff who were present to receive their first contracts and identify their assignments: Madelyn Meyer (Poquessing Middle School), Allison Musial (Carl Sandburg Middle School), Keely Gallagher (BCBA at the high school) and Abigail Mamrose (ELA teacher at Neshaminy High School). Mr. Bowman congratulated the new hires and thanked district staff for their work on staffing and onboarding.
The board did not receive public comment on these items during the meeting.
