Wapsie Valley CSD approves agenda, discusses parking accommodations and wrestling schedule

At its July 24 special meeting the Wapsie Valley CSD Board approved the agenda 5–0, directed administration to explore options for handicap parking accommodations, and heard a request to remove Don Bosco from the wrestling schedule if meets conflict.
The Wapsie Valley Community School District Board of Directors approved the meeting agenda and handled several brief items of other business at a special meeting on July 24, 2024.
Director Aiello moved and Director Sauerbrei seconded approval of the agenda; the motion carried 5–0. Later in the meeting, administration was asked to address parking for people who use handicap-designated spots. The minutes state that Mr. Hoover will discuss options with Mr. Bergman and that the district can add parking spots if needed.
Director Kaufman asked that Don Bosco be removed from the wrestling schedule if Wapsie Valley has meets with them during the upcoming school year; the minutes record the request but show no formal vote on scheduling changes.
The board adjourned at 7:22 PM after a motion by Aiello, seconded by Sauerbrei, which carried 5–0. The minutes were signed by Board Secretary Kim Arndt.
