City Attorney Andreas Bohor summarized the agreement and said the recruitment for a permanent city manager would open the following day with a process expected to last at least six weeks; council review of candidates was projected for early August. Councilmembers thanked Martin for stepping into the role and expressed confidence in her performance.
Martin addressed the council and thanked members for the opportunity to serve as interim city manager. The council unanimously approved the employment agreement by recorded vote.
