The Steering Committee on June 22 recommended the full Town Council adopt an updated job description for the Recreation Assistant position.
Town Manager James Drumm explained the position is currently vacant and that the job description needed to be updated to reflect current formatting and to align with prior union-adopted language that had not been formally adopted by the Council. After brief discussion, Kyer moved and Hand seconded the recommendation; the motion carried unanimously.
The recommendation will be forwarded to the full Town Council for formal adoption so the Town has an officially updated job description on record.
