Councilmember Lyle Hoaglund moved and Councilmember Jim Potter seconded to accept the resignation of Trace Naatz and the retirement of Jeff Schmidt after 25 years of service. The motion carried 5-0.
The department also noted it will report further on equipment rotation and potential funding or intergovernmental assistance as plans are refined.
