Chad Wilson moved to sign a Buyer Agency Agreement and Mark Wilkerson seconded; the motion carried 5-0. The council then approved Resolution 2025-3, a resolution expressing the Town Council’s interest in purchasing the property, contingent upon receiving lot information, completing appraisals, and securing funding. The vote on the resolution was 5-0.
Council also moved to designate Clerk Treasurer Danieta Foster as the town’s purchasing agent to handle acquisition-related tasks; that motion passed 5-0. The minutes record that Danieta Foster will contact the Indiana Bond Bank for information and secure two appraisals after receiving additional lot information from the realtors.
