Board approves Mill Street wastewater work, animal shelter contract and police camera financing

The board also approved the 2026 annual services agreement with the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County for $150,000; the contract package includes an additional $25,000 allocation for an SNR (spay/neuter/rehome or similarly described) program. Susan Albrecht moved to approve; Erin Corbin seconded and the motion passed.
Chief Mattingly described a financing agreement with Verdant Commercial Capital, LLC to update cameras at the Police Department. The agreement totals $37,067.01 to be paid over five years; Susan Albrecht moved to approve, Erin Corbin seconded and the motion passed.
The minutes do not record payment schedules beyond the five‑year financing term for the camera agreement nor additional administrative conditions for the other contracts.
