Planning staff announces Highway 61 visioning open house and upcoming zoning workshop

Rachel also announced the city has hired a consultant (Landform) to begin a 2024 review of residential zoning—covering single‑family, multifamily and mixed‑use land‑use discussions—and that staff plans a joint planning commission/city council workshop on Sept. 12 to discuss proposed code updates and apartment‑project guidelines. Rachel asked commissioners to pencil in that date; final scheduling will be set by the city council.
