Councilmember Muiran moved to schedule the workshop for Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. at City Hall; Councilmember Klein seconded the motion and the mayor called for the vote. The motion carried on a voice vote.
The workshop is intended as a review of a preliminary draft the finance department is preparing; no budget figures or formal adoption occurred at the July 1 meeting. The council will consider the draft at the scheduled workshop and any subsequent meetings.
