The Clinton City Council unanimously approved Resolution 17-26 on June 16 adopting the Fiscal Year 2026-27 fee schedule, which includes several new and adjusted fees.
Staff presented proposed additions: recycling fees, a chicken registration fee, a recording fee for accessory dwelling units and an increase to a pass-through fee to cover higher dispatch service charges associated with moving dispatch services from Davis County to Layton. Councilmember Chris Danson moved to approve the fee schedule and Councilmember Dane Searle seconded. All council members voted in favor and the motion carried.
The change to the dispatch pass-through fee responds to an increase in the dispatch service fee the City will pay following the change in service provider; other new fees aim to formalize charges for specific services and regulatory actions.
