Town board approves routine contracts, appointments and settlements

After public hearings and comments, the Town of Greenberg board took a series of routine actions on Nov. 12.
The board accepted resignations from two planning board members and appointed Dylan Pine as chair of the planning board effective immediately. Dylan Pine addressed the board briefly and thanked staff and the planning board for the opportunity to serve.
On consent resolutions the board approved multiple one‑year contracts for fire protection services with neighboring villages for terms beginning Jan. 1, 2024 (as presented in the resolutions), authorized continuing retention of outside counsel in pending personnel litigation with funds to be paid by insurance where noted, and authorized a forensic engineering retainer in a separate claim. The board also approved tax certiorari settlements and several budget transfers and capital project items, calling the votes on the record as "Aye."
The board moved to adjourn at the end of the agenda.
