Board approves consent agenda, acknowledges donations and hires new FFA teacher

The board recognized donations: Green County provided $350 to the district FFA from Breakfast on the Farm; Double Good, New Glarus Home, Woodford State Bank, and William and Deborah Ruff contributed funds toward SkillsUSA national convention expenses.
On personnel, the board approved the hire of Maline M. McIntyre as the district's new FFA teacher and high-school cross-country assistant coach following a motion by Ron and a second by Travis. Board members welcomed McIntyre and noted her collegiate cross-country experience.
Other routine business included committee updates and scheduling of future meetings. The meeting adjourned at about 8:20 p.m.
