On a motion from Director Schwarz, seconded by Director Walker, the board approved a cooperative sponsorship with St. Peter for girls gymnastics, citing the opportunity to maintain enrollment and offer additional activities to students; the motion carried.
The board also adopted a new Le Sueur‑Henderson School Board handbook following a work session and passed a resolution establishing when write‑in votes would be individually recorded for school board elections (only when write‑in totals meet a statutory threshold, citing Minnesota Statute 204B.09 subd. 3). Finally, the board approved memoranda of agreement prepared for future use; union representation had been consulted on the MOAs.
