Commissioner Julie Jeppson moved to approve the Transportation/Parks Committee recommendations; Commissioner Jeff Reinert seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The CMAQ grant (Contract GR_00776) covers the period Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2026 and is intended to support Commute Solutions' work to reduce congestion and improve air quality. The board record states the subrecipient agreement is with the Metropolitan Council and the funds total $262,500.
The board also approved Contract SCON26-00001125 with North Pine Aggregate, Inc., for Project SAP 002-612-039. The contract covers improvements at the intersection of 109th Avenue with Tournament Players Parkway/Mankato Street and the intersection of 109th Avenue and Radisson Road in Blaine; the contract amount is $3,878,355.61. The meeting minutes note that contracts are on file in the respective county departments and are subject to attorney review.
No additional changes to the contracts were recorded in the meeting. The motion to approve these consent items was included in the Transportation/Parks Committee recommendations and carried on a unanimous roll-call vote.
