Brandon Johnson of Bollig Engineering presented the firm’s approach, saying the company will pursue available grant funding and use in-house staff and resources to support a project of this size. Council members asked no recorded questions before voting to authorize the agreements.
Council member Jennifer Crider moved to sign a task order agreement with Bollig Engineering; Council member Holly Knutson seconded the motion and the council voted in favor. The council then approved signing Task Order #1 for the firm on a separate motion, again moved by Crider and seconded by Knutson. Meeting minutes record both motions as carried unanimously.
The approved task orders authorize Bollig Engineering to begin the work specified in the agreements. The council did not add conditions to the motions in the meeting record. Further scheduling, design details, permit steps and procurement phases, if any, were not specified in the minutes.
The council’s approval follows routine agenda business at the April 14 meeting; the minutes also record other motions on financial reports and procurement items discussed later in the session.
